About our NT2 projects

Roeland organizes Dutch day camps in Ghent for newcomers and children with language difficulties. To organise these camps, we join forces with IN-Gent as well as our contacts within the various schools.

In 2011 Roeland received the "European Label for Innovative Language Learning" for these projects and in 2017 the award "Jeugdwerk voor Allen" (for initiatives that make youth work accessible for youngsters with special needs).

Taalzomer

For newcomers in primary school aged 7-12 years
Three weeks, from the end of July to mid-August, from Monday till Friday from 8:30 - 12:30 am
At Nieuwen Bosch humaniora (Lange Violettestraat 65 in Ghent)
Fee = 20 euros for 3 weeks

Taalturbo

For newcomers aged 12-15 years
Five days during the Easter holidays, from 8.30 am to 4 pm
At Nieuwen Bosch humaniora (Lange Violettestraat 65 in Ghent)
Fee = 10 euros for 5 days
